Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.

 

Shipping Policy

Kitchen Safe ships via Amazon fulfillment and other carriers both domestically and internationally.  As we ship via third party shippers, we cannot guarantee a delivery date.   Shipping times and delivery dates are estimates based on the best information we have.  Tracking will be provided when possible, but not all carriers provide tracking.  Customers should contact us if tracking is package is not received within 10 calendar days of ordering to avoid the package being returned if there were delivery issues.  Per terms of carriers, packages are not assumed to be lost until 14 days USA / 30 days international after the delivery date.  Purchasers are responsible to ensure the delivery address provided is correct and delivery is possible by carriers and national mail providers.  Customer is responsible to contact us if package has not been received within 5 days of estimated delivery date as the package may be held for pick up.  If package is returned, shipping fees for returned packages or to send out again are the responsibility of the customer.

Order Cancelation Policy 

Shortly after you place your order, we submit it to our fulfillment partner to be packed and shipped so you can get your new kSafe as quickly as possible. Typically, once an order has been sent to our fulfillment partner it cannot be canceled. So, in many cases, we are unable to cancel an order.

 

Forwarding Services & Package Hand Offs

Orders placed to forwarding service, business addresses, university addresses, or any service where packages are handed off from carrier before final delivery are discouraged due to higher rates of lost packages.  If an order is placed to any of these and the package is sent, it is considered delivered as tracking often fails to update at hand off.  Any damage or lost items are not the responsibility of Kitchen Safe. 


International Orders

Orders to countries outside of the United States are welcome. International customers are responsible for additional requirements, taxes, and duties of international orders and should check country specific rules before ordering.  As international packages are often handed off to the national carrier, customers should only order if their national carrier is reliable.  Customers may be required to pick up their packages at a post office inside the receiving country as often packages are held there. If your package has not been received within 2 weeks of ordering, customers should contact the Kitchen Safe for tracking status and then their local post office .  

 

Returned Packages

Customer is responsible for shipping charges for shipments that are returned due to incorrect shipping address provided; an undeliverable address as determined by the shipping carrier; failure to include a valid phone number for the carrier to call; failure to pay taxes and/or duties; or failure to pick up the package at the carrier location or local post office.

Chargebacks Prohibited

Customer agrees and understands that the charges on a credit card or other payment method for items purchased from Kitchen Safe are irrevocable, undisputable and may not be charged back, contested or challenged now or in the future, doing so is a material breach of this agreement.  Product is occasionally delayed in shipping, lost in the mail, or damaged in shipping.  Any issues with the product or delivery must be addressed by emailing info@thekitchensafe.com and given 30 days to resolve.  Customer further agrees that proof of purchase by Kitchen Safe is all that is necessary to establish to the credit card agency or banking institution to deny a chargeback to Customer. If any chargeback is attempted, regardless of the outcome, the product warranty will become void, no product returns will be accepted, and customer will be liable for all payment chargeback fees in addition to a $50 processing charge.

Quantity Limits

Customers are limited to ordering no more than 5 units ordered per year.  Customers that place multiple orders for more than 5 units will be restricted from purchasing additional units.

 

Reselling

Customers are prohibited from reselling items purchased on our website for resale without written authorized permission.  When permission to resell is provided, permission excludes selling on any 3rd party websites (Amazon, Ebay, etc).  Any unauthorized reselling will result in immediate termination of any product warranty provided and no product returns will be accepted.
